CRAFS & Farm Radio Trust (FRT) Collaborate on Agricultural Advisory Services Development – Thope Lodge, Mponela

In a joint effort to digitize climate and agricultural advisory information and build a resilient agri-food system in Malawi, CRAFS and FRT are spearheading the development of content aligned with the 2024/25 seasonal forecast from the Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services (DCCMS). This initiative, supported by the National Agriculture Content Development Committee (NACDC) under the Ministry of Agriculture, will ensure tailored content is disseminated through radio and digital platforms.

The three-day workshop (11-13 December 2024) aligns with the WB ACE II AF project's PBC 4 objective to strengthen partnerships between ACEs and the private sector. Financial backing from the Department of Agricultural and Extension Services (DAES) and the Agricultural Commodity Exchange (ACE) further highlights the commitment to sustainable agriculture and effective knowledge sharing.
