Program Structure

The MSc in Informatics degree program offers four specializations: MSc in Informatics (Network Management), MSc in Informatics (Software Engineering), MSc in Informatics (Artificial Intelligence), and MSc in Informatics (Business Intelligence). The program is divided into two main components: coursework and a dissertation. Successful completion of both components is required to earn an MSc in Informatics. The coursework comprises eight (8) core modules and two (2) optional modules, except for the MSc in Informatics generic stream where students will do six (6) core modules. Each student must complete all eight core modules and at least 2 optional modules, and must obtain at least 120 credit points to fulfill the coursework requirements for the program. In addition, students are required to submit a research proposal and a dissertation at the end of the second and fourth semesters, respectively.
