Brief profile
Dalitso Kafumbata is an academic leader in biological sciences at CRAFS and a molecular geneticist with postdoctoral training in ecosystem services for managing food and nutritional health. He is the lead researcher on enhancing growth performance in cichlids, pulses, and cereal crops using modern biotechnology. At the University of Malawi, Dalitso holds a faculty position as Senior Lecturer and Chair of the Department of Biological and Biomedical Health Sciences in the School of Natural and Applied Sciences.
